Here is the link to the NCDOT Virtual Rodanthe Bridge Project Update to be held on Dec. 2 news release. This website by the NCDOT is dedicated to what they call the NC 12 Rodanthe Bridge. There is quite a bit of information about the ongoing construction project. As the completion of the bridge construction nears and opening day activities are planned it will be interesting to follow the news about the newest Outer Banks bridge. I will miss the section of Highway 12 through Pea Island Wildlife Refuge. The birds in that area were fun to observe. Hope we can still access the area after the new bridge opens.
